Diana Kroodsma Poist, 78, of Pensacola, FL., passed away on Sunday. September 25, 2022.

Mrs. Poist was born in Sherman, TX and graduated from Camp Lejeune High School. She was a retired school bus driver and enjoyed reading, gardening and morning coffee with her beloved dogs. Fearless in life Diana always faced life's challenges regardless of any physical limitations. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, serving as a constant inspiration to all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Poist is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Poist; brother, Gordon "Corky" Kroodsma and grandson Levi Myers.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Lau (Linda) of East Berlin, PA, Jason Lau of Pensacola, FL and Jeremy Lau (Merrie) of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Kimberly Lau of Bridgeville, DE; grandchildren, Kyle Wagner-Lau, Gabriel Lau, Tristan Lau, Samantha Pennewell, Paige Lau, Carly Lau, Caden Lau, Kinsley Lau, Jade Frank, Daniel Frank and Matthew Frank; great grandson, DeAndre Pennewell and brother, Gregory Kroodsma of Enterprise, AL.
