Dianne Elizabeth Allen, 80, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom; her three children, Jill (Neal) Smith, Tom (Stacey) Allen II and Bill (Kim) Allen; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Chase, Jackson Coke, Luke and Katherine all of Pensacola.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and her sister.

Dianne was born on May 9, 1936, in Newark, OH to Willard and Lura Hartman. She grew up and attended elementary and high schools in Ohio and Pennsylvania and attended Ohio State University.

Dianne was a devoted wife, mother and consummate homemaker. Nothing was more important to her than family. Her avocation was acquiring and fixing up houses. She had an innate skill for decorating and furnishing the home, making it both beautiful and comfortable. She enjoyed her bridge group and games of all sorts. She loved pets, leaving behind her beloved Scottish terrier and cat.

She had deep faith and trust in God, starting each day by reading passages from her Bible and the lectionary.

A private Funeral Mass was held for her on Monday, August 29, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze.
