Dixie Ann Dinsmore, age 66, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2016. She was born in Pascagoula, MS but spent much of her childhood and most of her adult life in Pensacola.

Dixie attended college at University of West Florida and was a teacher until the birth of her daughter, Stephanie. She spent many years as a caregiver to her second daughter Alexandra.

She was a dedicated and loving Mother to her two daughters. Those who knew her will remember her for her vivacious, cheerful personality, sense of humor, infectious smile, and loyal dedication to her family.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie James and Helen Bell Cunningham as well as her beloved daughter, Alexandra.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Winker (and son-in-law Erik) of Seattle and her granddaughter Gabrielle, also of Seattle.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regency Hospice, 50 Beverly Parkway, Suite 20, Pensacola, FL 32505.

A very special thank you to the wonderful caregivers of The Waterford at Creekside, nurse Anne Williams of Regency Hospice as well the volunteers who spent time with Dixie. Family also wishes to express gratitude to Dixie's friends, John and June Kent who were such a blessing to Dixie in countless ways.
