Dolores Louise Hommeland, 76, of Pensacola, FL passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

Dolores was born on September 8, 1946 in Pensacola, FL.  She graduated from Pensacola High School, Class of 1964. Dolores was a longtime active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She retired after 40 years of Civil Service at NAS Pensacola, FL (NAMI / NAMOI). She was a former member of the Sanders Beach Community. Dolores loved the beach, the water, music, and was a friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Marguerite (Ulbrich) (a true coal miner's daughter) and Donald Harold Hommeland, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Kristen Huff Gill; grandchildren, Anna and Andrew Gill; her brother, Harold Hommeland; two nephews, Donald H. Hommeland, III (Lauren) and Jacob Hommeland; as well as special friends, Kevin & Barbara Tomasko and Jimmy & Redgie Clay.

Memorial Service will be held 12:00noon Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Randy Blankschaen officiating.

The family would like to give special thanks to her "Medical Heros" at Baptist Hospital.
