Dolores L. Mintz, 73 of Pensacola passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Dolores was born in Youngstown, OH on May 24, 1941. She graduated from Youngstown State University earning a BS in education, and graduate work in Early Childhood Development. She was a member of the AOPi Sorority. Dolores went to work in Cincinnati, OH as Director of a Retirement Community, Relocation Director for Companies, Builders Community Sales and owned her own business. In July 2004, Pensacola became her final residence where she enjoyed being involved with the Symphony Guild, Escarosa Woman's Club and her many friends at Olive Baptist Church where she was a member. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Melissa Wyda (Scott) of Pensacola; son, David G. Mintz of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren; sister, Sue Northall (Roger) of New Market, TN; a niece and nephew. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darren English and Mr. Robert Lloyd, Director of Single Adult Ministries at Olive Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to: Cholangio Carcinoma Foundation, 5526 W. 13400 South, # 510, Salt Lake City, UT 84096.
