Donald Ray Hill, 57, of Pensacola, FL passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022.

Don Ray was born December 21, 1964 in Bryant, Texas the son of Donald Hill and Nancy Hill, and spent many years in his youth traveling with family. As the family grew, we eventually settled down in Foley, AL. Don Ray completed High School and joined the AirForce as an aircraft mechanic, just like our Dad. When he was about to finish his four years, tragedy struck and he was involved in a life threatening car crash. It was so bad, the Air Force immediately flew his parents to England where Don Ray was stationed. After many days of touch and go, he survived with the loss of an eye. He became known as Hawkeye and later in life, everyone came to know him as Patch. He later went on to meet the love of his life, Kathy. They were married in Don Ray's parents back yard with a beautiful ceremony and spent more than 20 years together before his untimely passing. Don Ray was an incredibly loving person and always helped people the best way he could. He was also very creative and had an online laser engraving store that allowed him to follow his passion in life. We will always remember him for the positive impact he had on everyone he met in this life. R.I.P. Donald Ray Hill, Son, Brother, Father and Husband. You will always be missed and remembered.

Don Ray is preceded in death by his older brother, Mark Allen Hill and daughter, Jessica.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy; his father, Donald Hill; his mother, Nancy Hill and his two younger brothers, Mark Hill and Bryan Hill.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Barrancas National Cemetery.
