Donald R. McCrory, Sr., 73, of Pace, FL went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 18, 2020.

This man is an appreciative forgiving son; a caring benevolent brother; a courageously tough and well decorated Marine (OORAH!!!); a humbly brave hero; a trustworthy friend; a respectful neighbor; an understanding uncle; a close cousin; a passive brother-in-law;  a dedicated Christian; an officer & a gentleman… This man is a proud, patient, loving, teaching, comforting, hilarious, protecting, responsible, giving father, grandfather and great grandfather. There is not anything this man won't do for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Above all, this man is a faithful, giving, loyal, embracing, protecting, eternally devoted husband that loves from the deepest depths of his soul so fiercely that it brings tears to his eyes at the mere sight of beautiful, amazing, loving, perfect bride. This man loves holding his beautiful bride close to him and dance like they're the only two people in the world. This man is a truly rare breed, and you likely shall never encounter another like him. Some are fortunate to cal him Daddy, Papa, Uncle Donnie/Don, MSgt. McCrory ("Top") or just simply Don. This man will forever and always live in those that love him. This man will never ever say "goodbye", so nor shall we… You rest now Daddy, we'll take it from here. We promise to take excellent care of Mama. God could not have created a more perfect husband and father for us than you, and we are eternally grateful. Thank you for loving us. We love you Daddy! This man is the man, the myth, the legend, the one and only… DONALD RAY MCCRORY, SR. Semper Fi.

He is preceded death by his parents, Riley C. and Avis I. McCrory.

Donald his survived by his beloved bride of 52 years, Veronica; his only son, Donald "Mac" R. McCrory, Jr. (Laurie); three adoring daughters, Stephanie Godwin (Chet), Kimberly McCrory and Rachele Fountain (Mcarthur); several joyful grandchildren, Courtenay, Bryce, Haleigh, Gabriel, Donnelle, Oakleigh, Sydney and Lucas; great-grandchildren, Owynn, Emma, Kynlee and Grayson; siblings, Riley and Patsy.

Family visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Serenity Gardens, 6208 Stewart Street, Milton, FL 32570.
