Donald Eugene Pratt, 86, long time resident of Pensacola, FL passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

Donald was born on February 24, 1938, in Leavenworth, KS. It was there he met his high school sweetheart, Patricia Cooper. They were married on November 27, 1956. He joined the US Air Force after high school and honorably served until his retirement in 1976 in Panama City, FL. Thereafter he moved to Pensacola, FL and worked Civil Service for the Navy. Donald had many hobbies. He enjoyed walks and swimming with his grandchildren. Donald was active in Civitans, and Toast Masters for many years. He was an amazing tennis player and shared his passion for the sport through coaching the Special Olympics.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patricia Pratt.

Survivors include his brother, David Rector; his 3 children, Donald Pratt, Jr, Timothy Pratt, and Rachel Eichelberger; his grandchildren, Kalee Eichelberger, Kobe Eichelberger, and Kendra Eichelberger, Michael Ryan Pratt, and Laura Pratt; as well as his great granddaughter, Adley Eichelberger.

Visitation will be held 11:00am until a Funeral Service begins at 12:00pm Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors.
