Donald Richard Worley, 83, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, December 27, 2024.

Don was born in Belzoni, MS on October 13, 1941, to the late Julius and Mildred Worley. After graduating from high school in Memphis, TN Don joined the US Marine Corps, and served 7 plus years after basic training in Yuma, AZ. He married Diane Johnson to whom he was married 55 years. Don got his undergraduate degree from Memphis State University, and his master's from the University of Arkansas. In 1982, Don, Diane and their three children moved to Pensacola, FL, where he worked as a Regional Director for government contracts. Don loved sports, family, and friends. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church. While living on his East Bay property in Milton, FL he picked up the hobby of birdwatching and fishing. Don loved family gatherings when all of his children and grandchildren would come to house in East Bay for Sunday dinners and holidays.

Don is preceded in death his wife Diane Worley, and brother, Julius Worley.

He is survived by his children, Craig Worley (Kaye), Brett Worley (Kathy), Dawn Ford (Todd) Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Savannah Worley, Sophia Worley, Ryan Worley, and Mabry Worley all of Pensacola, Blake Ford and Colin Ford both of Omaha, NE; sister, Vicki Blitman of Syracuse, NY; nephew Joey Blitman; and niece, Rebecca Walters.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until a Memorial Service at 11:00am Friday, January 3, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Geoffrey Lintz officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dean Tudor, Don Worley, and Tim Worley.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brain Research Foundation, 111 W. Washington St., # 1460, Chicago, IL 60602.
