Doris Miller Patterson, age 91, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 10, 2011. She was born June 2, 1920, in Pensacola and was a lifelong resident. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett N. (Pat) Patterson, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Pat) Patterson Griffin; her granddaughter, Natalie Fowler Kaigler (Hal); two great granddaughters, Lucy and Avery Kaigler; and two special nieces Paula Henry (Dick) and Clara Lambert (Lacey). Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2011, 6:00 " 7:30 pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Dr. Hugh Hamilton officiating. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Bayview Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or memorials donations may be made to United Ministries, P. O. Box 9255, Pensacola, FL 32513.
