Dorothy M. Baumgartner, 92 formerly of Lakeland, FL passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 51 years, Donald H. Baumgartner. Mrs. Baumgartner is survived by her three loving children, Donald Baumgartner (Barbara), Lynne Johnson (Richard), Susan Hass (Dr. William); 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren one of which was dear to her heart Niya Thompson and her faithful feline companion Maggie. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30am Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Msgr. Michael Reed officiating. Interment of her ashes will be in Lakeland, FL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1212 E. Moreno St., Pensacola, FL 32503 or to Humane Society of Pensacola, 5 N. Q St., Pensacola, FL 32505.
