Dorothy J. Fitzgerald, 91, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, October 26, 2012. Dorothy was born May 25, 1921 in Caledonia, IA. The daughter of Peter and Inez (Woods) Hosch. Dorothy graduated from New Albin High School. She later married the love of her life John T. Fitzgerald in 1946 and spent her life as a homemaker doing the things that were most important to her, and her family. She was a woman of great beauty, class, quiet charm and deep faith. Her kind and generous spirit will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; her parents and brothers Orval and Leon Hosch. Survivors include her son, Ron Fitzgerald (Brenda); daughter, Betty Fitzgerald and son, Terry Fitzgerald, all of Pensacola; granddaughter, Dawn Faller (Charles) of Pensacola; grandsons, Tim Fitzgerald, Donnie Stuckey, Jonathan Stuckey, John Fitzgerald and Jonathan Fitzgerald, all of Pensacola; great granddaughters, Jordyn Faller, Madison Faller and Taylor Fitzgerald all of Pensacola; her sister, Belva Becker of New Albin, IA and her brother, Donald Hosch of Pensacola; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 10:00am until the Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00am Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1212 E. Moreno St., Pensacola, FL with Msgr. Michael Reed celebrant. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
