Dorothy "Dot" H. Bastion, 82 of Pensacola passed away Monday, June 11, 2018.

Dot was born on June 25, 1935 in Ashland, KY to Leslie T. and Lottie (Robinson) Hearin. She was raised in Corbin and Henderson, KY. After receiving her Masters in Elementary Education, Dot taught 2 ^nd grade and retired from the Escambia County School System. She was a member of the Pensacola Yacht Club for over 50 years. Dot and her late husband Marvin loved taking in stray animals, gardening, traveling and quietly helping the less fortunate in our community. She enjoyed her outings and luncheons with her many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, Marvin.

Survivors include her son, Scott Thompson (Ninette); step children, Connie McCants, Crystal Davis and Scott Bastion; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her furry children, Andy Dandy, Frosty and Monkey and her grandchild Daisy.

The family will have a Private Family Service.
