Dorothy Annette Breland Hallman 84, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, February 15, 2021.
Dorothy was born on December 21, 1936 in Henderson, TX. On April 20, 1954, she married Otis Martin Hallman in a pastor's home in Columbus, MS. Due to her husband's US Marine Corps career, she and the family moved quite often all over the country. She knew God personally and served him faithfully all over the country playing the piano and singing.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Comer B. Breland and Ada Mae Breland; her brothers, Glen, Charles, and Lawrence; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Jimmy & Merle Teat.
She is survived by her husband, Otis Martin Hallman; six children, Dennis Hallman, Lisa Mishoe, Liana Clyde (George), Lillian Rodriguez (Jhonny), Cassandra Brandenburg (Charlie), Ramon Hallman (Vanessa); 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her three brothers, Fred Breland (Faye), Doug Breland (Carol), and Curtis Breland (Ethel); as well as two sisters, Shirley Tune (Sonny) and Lavelle Black (Charles).
Visitation will be held 3:30pm until the funeral service to begin at 4:30pm Thursday, February 22, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Bishop Sean Baker officiating. Private family interment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local church or the Pensacola Worship Center, River of Life.
The family would like to thank Covenant Care Hospice of Pensacola for their exceptional and compassionate care they provided Dorothy and family.
