Dorothy B. Miller, 96, of Pensacola, FL passed away at West Florida Hospital Covenant Hospice Care. She was the 8th child born to John H. and Lula Baxter in Montgomery, AL. She graduated from high school and Huntington College and was married to the late Dr. Clyde E. Miller, Jr. of Pensacola for 61 years. She was a gifted pianist, past president of the Music Study Club, Garden Club and Medical Auxiliary. She was a Bible teacher and leader of Women of the Church at McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian Church. Most importantly, she was a woman of Grace who loved Jesus, her family, and all she knew. "Her children rise up and call her blessed." She is preceded in death by her parents, seven older siblings, her husband, 1 grandson and 2 great-granddaughters. She is survived by her children, Gerald (Claudia) Miller, Jeanne (Gary) McArthur, Linda (George) Hopson, Anne (Dale) Smith, Beth (Ed) Richardson; 13 grandchildren and their family; 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm till the Memorial Service beginning at 2 pm, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Pinewoods Presbyterian Church, 2198 Hwy 297-A, Cantonment, FL 32533.
