Earl John Beede, Jr., 75, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. John was born in Barre, VT on August 27, 1939 to Earl, Sr. and Dorothy (Dot) (Clark) Beede. He spent countless hours of his youth on the baseball fields in Post Mills, VT with his cousins, uncles and friends. He graduated from Thetford Academy in 1957 and immediately started working for the First National Grocery Store chain. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Carol; his children, John (Leslie) of Homestead, FL, Michele (David) Brague of W. Wyoming, PA, Brett, and Lisa (Rick) Ash of Ashland, NH; nine grandchildren; Allison (Goose), John A., Joseph, Ellen, Lauren, Nolan, Ethan, Nathanael and Austin; three great-granddaughters, Grace, Juliet and Ivy; his sister, Rebecca (Herb) Gray of VT; brother-in-law, Reed (Nancy) Boisjolie of MA; 2 uncles, 3 nephews, 2 nieces, countless cousins and extended family. He will never be forgotten by dearest friends, Jackie and Jim Noseworthy and Jim and Nancy Dalley. John helped develop the Little League program in Ashland, NH and continued coaching for 17 years until he moved to Pensacola, FL in 1984 where he eventually became a realtor for First Choice Realty and worked at The Arc Gateway. He was a lifetime member of the Pensacola Civitan Club and a life-long Red Sox fan and again was determined to remain always faithful. His love of playing cribbage and cards with his family will be carried on for generations to come. John fought countless medical battles since 1983 and always managed to bounce back countless times. He was a medical miracle for sure. In the loving words of John's son Brett, "That man was one tough SOB." A celebration of John's life will be scheduled at a later time.
