Earl Ray Suggs (also known as Ray Ray), 92 of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013. Mr. Suggs was born on January 24, 1921 in Pensacola, FL to Ethel Louise (Yates) and Clarence David Suggs. He graduated from Pensacola High School with the Class of 1938. Mr. Suggs worked for the U S Postal Service at various branches throughout Pensacola, retiring as a Supervisor with 36 years of service. He was a member of Gadsden Street United Methodist Church before moving his letter to Warrington United Methodist Church. His parents and his four siblings preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Eleanor Grace Suggs; daughter Deitra "Dee" Dawn Brazwell ( Lynn); grandson, Michael Brazwell; and sister, Mabel Cary. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Bayview Memorial Park with Rev. Bill McDurmont and Rev. Michael Funk officiating. A Reception will follow the services at New Testament Fellowship. The Suggs family would like to express a special thanks to Senior Home Health Care and Regency Hospice.
