Obituary

Earline S. Lee, 78, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011. Mrs. Lee was born on November 15, 1933 in Hacoda, AL. She was one of 7 children of Harvey and Macie Sikes. Mrs. Lee grew up in Gaskin, FL and worked on the family farm. She later moved to St. Augustine and worked for Southern Bell for 12 years. Mrs. Lee came to settle in Pensacola and owned the Coffee Cup for 20 years, until she retired in 1993. She has spent her time sewing, crocheting and reading her beloved cookbooks. Mrs. Lee was an avid freshwater fisher lady. She will be greatly missed by her daughters and treasured grandchildren. She is preceded in death by brother, James Sikes; sister, Christine Howell and parents, Harvey and Macie Sikes. She also was preceded by her husband, Roy E. Lee. Mrs. Lee is survived by her daughters, Susan Ramirez and Rebecca Yates both of Pensacola; grandchildren, Joshua Yates, Jackson Yates and Nicole Smith all of Pensacola, Michael Smith of South Florida; a brother, Pete Sikes of St. Augustine, FL; 2 sisters, Voncil Beckel of St. Augustine, FL and Hilda Padgett of Pensacola along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 10-11am with Funeral services beginning at 11am at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Rev. Fred Martin and Rev. Bob Barr will officiate. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504.
