Earline Neenie Wood, 83, passed away July 4, 2011 in Tallahassee. Born and raised in Pensacola, Neenie was an avid gardener and worked at Jerrys Drive-In for 36 years before retiring in 1993. Neenie was a very sweet, kind, sincere person with a bubbly personality and a great wit about her. She never met a stranger and was very considerate to all. She could carry on a conversation with anyone and often did. Surviving Ms. Wood are her daughter, Marsha VandenDooren (Keith), Tallahassee; two granddaughters, Hailey VandenDooren and Joy VandenDooren; her grandson, Jon Patrick VandenDooren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edna Buchanan; her two sisters, Nell Nelson and Sharon Gentry. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until a Memorial Service at 2:00pm Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
