Edna "Deanne" Harmon, 84, of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Deanne was born on January 23, 1940, in Cleveland, MS. She grew up in the Mississippi Delta attending Leland High School and then attended Mississippi College. After meeting and marrying Bill Harmon, she relocated to Pensacola in 1959. After marriage, she began her career as a piano teacher for over 50 years. She was very active with the Pensacola Music Teachers Association. Deanne loved judging piano competitions and she loved the symphony and attended performances regularly. She loved to travel and had many great vacations and was an avid cat lover. Her life was dedicated to music and music education.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell Brown and Mary Alice Brown.

Deanne is survived by her son, Rusty Harmon (Sonia) of Pensacola, FL; cousin, Frankee Schwitzer of Madisonville, LA and niece, Jennifer Harmon of Pensacola, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, officiated by Carol Landry.
