Edna Merle Sloan, 89, of Pensacola, FL died Tuesday morning, May 3, 2016 at Brookdale Hermitage Care in Tallahassee.
Born in Pensacola, FL on August 26, 1926, her parents were Paul R. Clemons and Edna Glover Clemons. Mrs. Sloan was a homemaker and was a longtime resident of Pensacola, FL.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bert Sloan and a son, Merideth Keith Sloan.
Survivors include 2 children, Paul Arthur Sloan of Garland, TX and Michael Allen Sloan (Sherron) of Tallahassee, FL; 3 grandchildren, Caitlin, Morgan, and Rachael Sloan.
Visitation will be held 5-7pm Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Mullenix Chapel on campus of Pensacola Christian College with Pastor Joshua Burdick officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
