Edna Bailey Wehmeier, 85, of Pensacola, FL went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 6, 2015. She was born on November 18, 1929 to Arthur and Maude Bailey. Edna met on July 4, 1944 and married the love of her life, David T. "Buddy" Wehmeier on August 18, 1947. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Edna was an active member of Heights Baptist Church and the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Willard E. Bailey. Edna is survived by her husband of 67 years, Buddy; a son, David (Tammy) Wehmeier; daughter, Carolyn (Jimmy) Mashburn; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; a brother, Bill (Betty) Bailey of Crestview, FL; sisters, Mildred Mitchell, Doris Inge, Drucilla (Linwood) Belich and Glenda (George) Crooke; a foster brother, J. C. Inman and a sister-in-law, Ruth Bailey along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Monday, February 9, 2015 from Heights Baptist Church, 600 Pickens Ave., Pensacola with Rev. Brian Nott officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
