Obituary

Edward Parker Owens, 82, of Pensacola, Fl passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Edward was born in Niceville, FL on May 21, 1932. He was a high school graduate with some college credits. He was a Seabee in the United States Navy for 20 years, serving in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Action before retiring. Afterwards he worked for Fluer-Daniel Construction before fully retiring. Edward was a kind, loving man. He was a loving husband and wonderful father and loved animals. He was preceded in death by his father, Parker Denis Owens and mother, Mary Lou Douglas and his brother, Charles Denis Owens. Edward is survived by his wife, Judith Stewart-Owens; his daughter, Judith Christine Owens and a sister, Bette Kidd. He will always be loved and missed. Visitation will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 with Funeral services beginning at 1pm from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Graveside service with Navy honors will follow at 2:00 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery.
