Edwin Byron McEnery, 96, of Cantonment passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 following a short illness. He was a career Navy aviator who served his country in both World War II and Korea. He and his wife of 62 years, Jean Willis McEnery made a home for their family in 4 foreign countries and 5 states before returning to Pensacola in 1962. Ed is survived by his children; Skip and Ann Bollens, Linda McEnery and Robert Michael; his grandchildren, Chris and Frankie Bollens and Terry Bollens and his great grandchild, Krislyn Bollens along with additional family members by marriage and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was admired and respected by his family and extended family for his loyalty, many generous kindnesses, strong support and can do attitude. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Pensacola. In lieu of flowers, Ed requested that donations be made to First Presbyterian Church, 33 E. Gregory St., Pensacola, FL 32505.
