Elizabeth Quina Reif, 71, of Pensacola, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in her home.

Elizabeth was born in Pensacola, FL, to Martha and Robert Quina. She was the fourth child and the first girl. Growing up, she was very social in her communities. She cherished her hometown of Pensacola where her family has a wonderful, treasured history. She graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School and went on to receive her associate's degree.

While in her twenties, Elizabeth moved to Houston, TX. It was there she met her future husband, Mark Reif. She and Mark were married for over 30 years and had one child together. Mark passed away several years ago.

Elizabeth always had a soft spot for creatures great and small and her first dog was a stray puppy that followed her around her apartment complex. She went on to adopt many more dogs in her lifetime.

Elizabeth is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law; two older brothers and their wives; her current dog; as well as many extended family members, and close friends.

Her loving spirit, compassion, and kindness will be missed by all.

A Memorial Mass will be held 12:10pm Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, with Fr. Joe Fowler celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorial contributions be made in her name at the ASPCA.
