She was a renowned artist in multiple mediums as well as an amateur videographer and writer of children's stories. She attended the Washington University's College of Art in St. Louis. During World War II, Liz was a nurse's aide at Kennedy General Hospital in Memphis and also worked at DuPont in Newark, NJ.
Her art chronicled all walks of life during her 100 years. Her earlier years are depicted in water colors and etchings. Her love for her family is portrayed in many individual portraits. Her last painting was inspired by the aftermaths of Hurricanes Ivan and Dennis, but was intentionally left unfinished as her way of warding off further hurricanes to her adopted hometown of Gulf Breeze. Liz was very philanthropic, having gifted to many charities. She had an immense love of animals, nature, and her family.
Liz' family would like to express special gratitude to her loving caregivers, Darlene Robinson and Shirley Carr, and Covenant Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for contributions to Covenant Hospice at choosecovenant.org or 5041 North 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504 or a charity of your choice.
