Eloise A. Terry, 97, of Mobile, AL and formerly of Pensacola passed away Saturday, November 13, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Bama), great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Mrs. Terry was born on September 12, 1914 in Geneva, AL to Robert A. and Alma C. Abbott. She retired from NAS as an accountant. She joined the Porcelain China Painter of Pensacola and painted until she was 86. Mrs. Terry was a volunteer with Sacred Heart Hospital for almost 25 years. She was a Charter member St. Mark United Methodist Church, and with her warm loving smile taught in the Childrens Sunday school department. Preceded in death by her loving husband, William Ralph Terry; parents, Robert A. and Alma C. Abbott; sister Bea Novak; brother Robert C. Terry; son William Jack Terry; grandsons Jimmy and Bill Terry; granddaughter Bonnie Cutter. Survivors include her son, Jerald R. Terry (Brenda); daughter in-law Bobbie C. Terry; eight grandchildren, Sharon Hull (Bill), Diane Overmier, Robin Hastings, Joe Terry (Melanie), Bobbie Harvey, Margie Rogers, Janice Meyer De Stadelhofer (Francis), Allan Veal (Fran); eighteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Friday, November 18, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Saturday, November 19, 2011 at St. Mark United Methodist Church, with Rev. Nancy Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
