Emily Louise Kiedinger Nell, 89, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Hendersonville, NC following a brief illness.

Born in Beulah, Florida, on September 27, 1927, to Clifford Joseph Kiedinger and Emily Louise Faedke, Louise lived in Pensacola until 2013. She graduated from Tate High School, and worked for many years in the University of West Florida Controllers Office.

Louise was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Pensacola. She was an accomplished cook and skilled seamstress. A member of the Pensacola Quilters Guild, Louise became a prize-winning quilter.

Louise was predeceased last May by her husband of almost 70 years, Charles Arnold Nell.

Louise is survived by her son, Terril Arnold Nell (Cathy) of Brevard, NC; granddaughters, Amanda Paige Nell and Emily Faith Nell and brother James Kiedinger (Lillian) of Pensacola.

The family will receive friends 9:30am – 10:30am on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:00am.
