Emma Sue Cannon, 83, of Pensacola, FL was called home by the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Emma was born on March 19, 1941, in Dothan, AL, to the late Alfred E. Reynolds and Ruth Trammell Reynolds. Emma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was an active member of Olive Baptist Church since 1995, serving as a Choir member, Sunday School Teacher and was also a devoted member of the Monday morning Cards group. Emma loved to spend time with her family and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles S. Cannon; a son, Brett E. Cannon; a sister Peggy Madison, and a sister Dollie Granger.

Survivors include, daughter, Suzanne Cannon Stinson (Len); son, Blake Cannon (Carol); daughter-in-law, Kimberly Maddock; and honorary daughter, Ana Cecilia Garces-Just (Ernie); grandchildren, Jake Stinson, Lauren Stinson, Alex Stinson (Miranda), Chandler Cannon (Katerina), Grant Cannon, Brandon Pearson, Meagan Pearson (Kyle), Sydney Cannon Pugh (Josh), Logan Cannon, Shay Cannon, and Michael Just; as well as many other extended family members.

A Visitation will be held 1:00pm until a Funeral Service begins at 2:00pm Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Olive Baptist Church, with Dr. Ted Traylor officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Logan Cannon, Jake Stinson, Alex Stinson, Chandler Cannon, Grant Cannon, Brandon Pearson, and Josh Pugh.

The family would like to give special thanks to Debbie Sprague and staff from Woodlands Medical for their love, care and support, also to Dr. Alex Brown for being a trusted physician for many years.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made in Sue Cannon's name to Olive Baptist Church.
