Eric Andrew Sarvis, 62, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Eric was the baby of the Sarvis clan. He lived his life with joy and gratitude. Truly a "good guy" as he called himself.

Eric was born on December 11, 1960. He grew up in Chapel Oaks, MD and was raised in the house with his siblings Sandra, Bill, Lette and Karen. There were lots of kids in the house and loads of neighborhood kids always hanging out at the family home.

He graduated from Fairmont Heights High School and went on to attend Allegheny Community College. He then met and fell in love with, and married "Ms. Crystal". They loved life and after 24 years together, she passed away. Eric then moved to Pensacola, FL to be with high school friends and to begin a new life.

Eric suffered from numerous issues at the time but at the age of 56, went on to be the gold-medal Olympian after finishing first in the Special Olympics heavyweight bench press competition at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL.

Eric is survived by the remainder of his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, step-sons, cousins, and his good neighbors and supporters in Pensacola, FL.

Eric, the "baby" will be truly missed but never forgotten. His Family Angels of parents Mena and Bill Sr., and sisters, Lette and Karen came to take away his suffering and he went peacefully.
