Ethel Keith Retherford, 87, resident of Pensacola, passed away Tuesday February 4, 2014. Mrs. Retherford was born in Holmes County, FL on October 3, 1926, to Esther (English) and William W. Keith. She was affectionately known as "Granny". She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, baking, and canning. She was known for her wonderful "sour cream Pound Cakes". She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 48 years to Ross S. Retherford. Survivors include a son, Roush (Joyce) Retherford; two daughters, Cathy (Kelee) Retherford, and Karen (Doug) Cox; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. A visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00pm on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Bayview Memorial Park.
