Ross was born in Pensacola, FL on April 28, 1940 the only child of Margie (Farve) and Eugene Ross Mudge, Sr. He graduated from Pensacola High School and attended PJC. For 49 years, Ross worked at the Pensacola Fair in the Photography Exhibit as a volunteer and judge. He was well known by many as "Santa Ross" during the Christmas Season working at local malls, churches, schools and private parties.

Ross was preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by several cousins and many friends that he considered family.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ross will be held at 3:00pm Monday, May 22, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bill Hodge officiating.
