Obituary

Eustolia Jimenez Arnett, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 after a brief illness. Mrs. Arnett was a resident of Ft. Walton Beach, FL since 1970, after she and her husband, MSgt Darius Charles Arnett retired from the U. S. Air Force.

Eustolia was born on November 9, 1935 in Crystal City, TX to Amador and Juanita Jimenez. She attended Midwestern University in TX and OWJC in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. She retired from the Army and Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) at Eglin AFB, FL as Supervisor in 2010 after 40 years of service. As a unique accomplishment, she received a 500 hour outstanding performance certificate award from AAFES. This acknowledgement reflected her strong work ethic. She was committed to her staff and made sure they had the opportunity to experience valuable time with their families. Working at AAFES also afforded her the opportunity to give thanks to the many service men and women who visited her at the Shoppette.

She was a member of American Legion Post 235, FWB and Eglin AFB NCO Club. She also was a previous member and served on the board of the Ft. Walton Beach's chapter of the American Business Women's Association. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. As testament to her faith and devotion, she would volunteer her time to help serve meals to the less fortunate.

She enjoyed ceramics, coin collecting, gardening, tending to her yard and traveling. She was an avid
NASCAR fan and would often travel with friends to many of the races. She was a giving and selfless person to her family and friends always willing to lend a hand when needed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, MSgt Darius C. Arnett; her parents; her brother, Jose A. Jimenez; nephew, Jose A. Jimenez, Jr.; niece, Diana Jimenez Caldwell; sister-in-law, Martha Jimenez and nephew, Daniel Jimenez; her brother-in-law, Chepo Delgado; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, June and A.F.
