Eva C. Head, 95, of Pensacola, FL for over 55 years passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Birmingham, AL where she has spent the last 2 years with her daughter.

Eva was born and raised in Pass Christian, MS and moved to New Orleans (Arabi) where she graduated high school, started working and ultimately married. Eva moved several times with her husband before arriving in Pensacola in 1970. Eva enjoyed volunteering at her childrens' schools and later at Sacred Heart Hospital in the Gift Shop. She was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Wilhelmina Courtenay; her husband, Edgar W. Head; as well as her sister, Isabel Courtenay.

Survivors include her son, Courtenay Head (Tina Stott); her daughter, Leah Head; as well as 3 grandchildren, Colton, McKenna, and Peyton Head.

A visitation will be held 10:00am until a Funeral Mass begins at 11:00am Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Grant Sennott celebrant. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
