IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eva-Maria Gabriele
Kueth
January 8, 1952 – August 22, 2022
Eva-Maria Gabriele Kueth (Gottschalk) left the world to join her husband of 41 years in the next life after a valiant and determined struggle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving children, Gabriele Silke and Peter Marc; her granddaughter, Lilia Julie Carlotta; her brother, Heinz-Christian and her sister, Christiane as well as numerous nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Wilhelm Franz and sister Renate.
Eva found an early love for the arts by studying classical music and opera and thoroughly embraced the performing arts. She wrote, performed, and published multiple songs, including some chart hits. She studied for many years under the acclaimed music instructor Ruth Busse in Germany.
Eva was uniquely driven and strove to be the best at whatever she tried to achieve. She reached the pinnacle in numerous fields, from being crowned Miss Germany to becoming an exceptional golfer to being chosen for the lead in cinematic productions and becoming a model for many leading designers such as Channel and Yves Saint Laurent.
After being crowned Miss Germany, she went to compete in the Miss Universe pageant in Acapulco, Mexico, where she first met her future husband, Peter, who knew the first day that he had met the love of his life.
Behind this competitiveness was a giving soul. As such, she was an early advocate of neurodiversity, volunteering at special needs homes. She later became the President of a neurodiversity advocacy group in Germany, striving to help children fulfill their full potential.
She had always been a port in the storm for her children, advising while protecting them with the fierceness of a lioness. For this, we are eternally grateful.
The numerous friends she made along the way, both in person and virtually, are a statement of her ability to inspire, entertain and build lasting bonds with people.
There will be a funeral for her and her husband's ashes in Germany later this fall.
In lieu of flowers, we would encourage you to donate to offset the cost of the funeral cost at https://gofund.me/d5cb4fa2 or make a donation to a cancer charity of your choosing.
