Evelyn P. Berube, 79, of Pensacola went to be with her Lord and the Angels during her favorite time of the year on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010. Mrs. Berube was born on October 21, 1931 in Pensacola, FL to James E. Presley and Rosie Pitts. She loved children and was a member of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, George Berube and son, Danny Hill along with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include 3 sisters, Elise, Ethel and Rosa; 3 daughters, Wanda Russell (Dale), Sylvia Hill and Kathy Boyce (Steve); 1 son, Rev. Ron Hill (Ramona); 10 grandchildren, Shane (Millie), Lisa (Rob), Dan (Samantha), Kelly, Randy, Scott (Emma), Joshua, David (Meghan), Raleigh and Rebecca; 4 great grandchildren, Kaylie, Brianna, Dalton and Braxton. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10am Friday, December 24, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Elijah Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give a special Thanks to Covenant Hospice and West Florida Hospital.
