Evelyn Parungao Pacheco, devoted wife, and loving mother, passed peacefully from this life on the evening of Tuesday, November 1, 2022. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends during the last days of her beautiful life.
Evelyn was born on April 16, 1968, in Jacksonville, FL to Romeo Sr. and Emelita Parungao. She grew up in Jacksonville and Pensacola, FL. She was a 1986 graduate of Escambia High School and went on to study accounting at the University of West Florida. Evelyn was an avid tennis player, foodie, baker, and the #1 fan of watching her daughters play high school and collegiate golf. She was the owner and manager of Cordova Spinal Center of NW Florida. Evelyn and her family are members of Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Her laugh was contagious, and her smile could light up a room. Blessed with the voice of an angel, Evelyn loved karaoke and sang at many weddings and social gatherings. Evelyn will continue to live on in the hearts of all the lives she has touched.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her father, Romeo Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Noel; her two daughters, Madison (Joseph) and Payton (Tristen); her granddaughter, Emmersyn; her mother, Emelita; her brother, Romeo Jr.; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held 4:00pm-6:00pm Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. The holy rosary will be prayed at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, with the Very Rev. Fr. James Valenzuela celebrant. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
Active Pallbearers will be Reuben Pacheco, Paul Pacheco, Mariano Pacheco, Ian Pacheco, Romeo Parungao, Keith York, Jeff Zorn, and Kevin Goolsby .
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph JV Castillo, Tristen Cooley, Mel Cayanan, and Joseph Edwards .
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tennis-4-Everyone, 415 E. Intendencia St., Pensacola, FL 32502.
