Florence Charlotte Hussung Pasquale, 91, of Pensacola, FL, went to be with her Lord and Shepherd on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She passed away peacefully at home.

Florence was born on February 19, 1931, in Louisville, KY, to Karl Arthur Hussung and Florence Sophia Eisenmenger Hussung. She attended Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY, for her undergraduate degree, the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (now Union Presbyterian Seminary), in Richmond, VA, for her first master's degree, and the University of West Florida, in Pensacola, FL, for her second master's.

Florence taught elementary and middle school for over 25 years, 23 in Escambia County, before retiring in 1998. She was a woman dedicated to her Christian faith. As an active member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, Florence served in many roles, including elder, head liturgist, choir member, bell choir member, and Sunday school teacher. She was also a member and past president of Delta Kappa Gamma (Society of Women Educators), Pensacola Chapter.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Pasquale; daughters, Helen Whitfield (Ken), Charlotte DeCarolis (John), and Sarah Hinderliter (Dan); grandchildren, Rachel Johnson (Jay), Lauren Marchlewski (Joshua), Carmen Roby (Scott), William DeCarolis, Catherine DeCarolis, and Natalie Hinderliter; great grandchildren, Isabelle Johnson, Jack Johnson, Bay Johnson, Georgia Johnson, Archer Johnson, Andrew Marchlewski, John Marchlewski, Isaac Marchlewski, Gabriel Marchlewski, Henry Marchlewski, Olivia Roby, Emily Roby, Walter Roby and Franklin Roby; her twin brother, Karl Hussung; as well as 3 nephews, a niece, and other extended family.

Visitation will be held 2:00pm until a Funeral Service to begin at 3:00pm Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Northminster Presbyterian Church, Pensacola, with Dr. Greg Seltzer officiating. A private interment will take place at Bayview Memorial Park.

Active Pallbearers will be Ken Whitfield, John DeCarolis, Dan Hinderliter, Jay Johnson, Joshua Marchlewski, and Scott Roby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA (in memory of Florence Charlotte Hussung, class of 1955), or to Northminster Presbyterian Church, Music Ministry in Pensacola, FL.
