Forrest Randall Brunson, 62, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 after a courageous battle with Fabry disease. Mr. Brunson was born on May 19, 1949 in Elba, AL to Forrest P. and Thelma (Wooten) Brunson. He retired from Shell Offshore, Inc. in Offshore Productions after 30 years of service. Mr. Brunson enjoyed wood carving and cooking. One of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren. He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his father, Forrest P. Brunson; his mother, Thelma Wooten Brunson and a son, Joshua Dalton Brunson. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Judith Elaine Davis Brunson; a son, Jason Randall Brunson; sister, Minnette (Don) Kimbro of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Lennon McKay Schweigert and Patricia Layne Schweigert along with the parents of his grandchildren, Alisa and Adam Schweigert all of Pensacola. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm Thursday, October 13, 2011 with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm at Cokesbury United Methodist Church (9th Ave. Campus) with Rev. Connie Ragghianti and Rev. Stuart Worth officiating. Burial will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
