Frances Marie DeJohn of Oklahoma City passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. She was born in Meadville, PA in 1923. Fran was a graduate of Meadville High School and married the late Charles Joseph DeJohn also of Meadville. She was an organist at St. Marys Catholic Church in Meadville for eleven years and a member of the parish Sodality for five years. Later she was an engineering secretary at Grumman Aviation and Republic Aviation in New York for ten years. After coming to Oklahoma City to live near her children she became a member of the Red Hat Society at the Wellington Adult Living Center. Fran is preceded by her father, Marcello Mastroianni; her mother, Celest Farrone; her husband, Charles J. DeJohn; and her step-brother, Joseph Mastrianna. She is survived by her son, Charles A. DeJohn of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Micheal DeJohn of Oklahoma City and Jennifer Strohl of New Kensington, PA; two great-grandchildren, Madyson and Kyleigh Strohl of New Kennsington, PA; a brother, Dominick Mastrianna of Hicksville, NY; a step sister, Angelina Monico of Meadville, PA; and a step brother, Celestino Mastroianni of Knox, PA. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at St. Pauls Catholic Church followed by a graveside service at the Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:45am.
