Frances Nunnally Griffin, 95, longtime resident of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Meridian, MS. Mrs. Griffin was born in Strong, AR and resided in Meridian, MS. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and a past member of McIlwain Presbyterian Church. She proudly served her country during WWII in the US Army Air Corp. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Watson Griffin. Survivors include her children, John Nunnally Griffin, and Mary Watt Petree; grandchildren, Shannon Fable, Jennifer Kay, Laura Griffin, James Griffin and great-grandchildren, Brady, Ashley, Lily and Marley. Private Graveside Service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors.
