Frances Weaver Reeves, 78, of Pensacola, Fl passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Frances was born in Roanoke, AL on October 4, 1937.
She attended Jacksonville State University. She moved to Pensacola and raised her family before going to work at Mutual Federal as an events coordinator and decorator. She was a talented cook, decorator and flower arranger. She was a member of the Lazy Daisy Garden Club and enjoyed volunteering at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with the Caravan each year. Frances loved entertaining friends and family in her home and that love poured into the dishes she prepared.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Frasier and Joy Poole Weaver.
She is survived by her children, James Jerauld Reeves, Jr., Rachel Reeves Heaney (Chris) and Michelle Reeves MacNeil (J.P.); her grandchildren, Michael and Anna Reeves, Christopher, William and Jack Heaney, Gavin and Trevor MacNeil; great grandchildren, Jackson and Weston Reeves all of Pensacola, FL.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Susan Sowers, Rector officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 3200 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, Fl 32503.
Special Thanks are given to Dr. Ziad Mamish, Dr. David Martin, the nurses and staff at Carpenters Creek, The Haven and Summer Vista and to her dear friend, Derlie Brown.
