IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frances June
Roswold
March 23, 1936 – June 8, 2024
Frances June Chamberlin Roswold, 88, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
Frances was born on March 23, 1936, in Salt Lake City by a train station and lived in Utah until she was 21. Frances married her sweetheart, Robert C. Roswold in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1958. When her husband was in the US Air Force, they traveled to almost all 50 US states and all over Europe and other countries. While living in England, Frances started brass rubbing doing over 100 rubbings including two 7ft brass rubbings. These were done inside churches and on top of gravestones. She had 3 sons who were all born in San Antonio, TX.
When Frances was younger, she enjoyed traveling, bowling, sailing, water skiing, snow skiing, camping all over the United States and even rode a motorcycle across Florida. Upon her husband's retirement, they moved to Pensacola at the age of 70. That is when she started to do more sailing, playing pool, knitting, needlepoint, crocheting, drawing, playing the organ her husband gifted her, and continuing their love of traveling. Frances's dream was to go to the Hawaii Temple, and she made her dream come true in February of 2023. On that trip she rode first class on the plane, getting to be the first one on and the last one off.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Forrest Chamberlin and June Frances Hobbs Chamberlin; husband, Robert Claude Roswold; sister, Betty Jane Potter; brother, Richard Chamberlin and grandson, Jordan Roswold.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Roswold (Lori), David Roswold (Jennifer) and Gary Roswold (Maria); grandchildren, Russ Roswold (Julie), Jeremy Roden (Cyd), Morgan Higdon (Matt), Tyler Roswold and Kevin Roswold (Danielle); great grandchildren, Paisleigh Roswold, Hudson Roswold, Cali Roden, Carolina Roden, Travis Blakely and Bryson Blakely.

The family would like to give special thanks to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (L.D.S.) and the staff at the Waterford at Carpenter's Creek.
