Frances P. Voght Jernigan, 81, of Lillian, AL passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019.

Frances was born on December 27, 1937 in Mobile, AL to Albert Frank Pound, Sr. Vesta Coral Pound. She graduated from Semmes High School and went to worked for Chemstrand (Monsanto) in 1964, working in the production department. She taught herself shorthand and took a position as a secretary in the lab. Before retirement she had been promoted to Executive Secretary to the Plant Manager. She raised three sons as a single mother.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Fleming; brother, Albert Frank Pound, Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Yvonne Alder (Charles) of Lillian, AL; brother, Howard Pound (Cindy) of Lillian, AL; sons, Brad Voght (Patee) of Pensacola, FL Kenny Voght (Cindy) of Gulf Breeze and Darin Voght (Cathy) of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Rita Thrasher (Lee), Darin Voght, Jr. (Maranda), Aleigha Brooks (James), Jennifer Resmondo (Drew), Morgan Johnson (Josh), and Michael Hubbard; great grandchildren, Carlyn and Jonah Thrasher, Xander Voght, Killian Voght, Kain Voght, Caden Brooks, Jaylen Resmondo, Conner Resmondo, Talon Hubbard and Tatum Hubbard.

Visitation will begin at 9:30AM until the Funeral Service at 10:30AM Monday, April 8, 2019 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Glen Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. A reception will follow after the burial at Frances Jernigan's house in Lillian, AL.

Active Pallbearers be Lee Thrasher, Jonah Thrasher, Darin Voght, Jr., Drew Resmondo, James Brooks and Josh Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephen Fleming, Howard Pound, Stevie Fleming and Donald Trotter.
