Franklin "Frank" Benjamin Gomez, Sr., 81, of Gulf Breeze, FL went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Frank was born on January 7, 1942, in Pensacola, FL to the late Lillian (Harvey) and Anthony P. Gomez, Sr.

Frank was a graduate of Pensacola Catholic High School, Class of 1960 and was employed by AT&T for 32 years. He was a long-term member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze. Above all he treasured time spent with his family, and especially loved dancing with his bride of almost 60 years to old time Rock & Roll and anything sung by Elvis. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and most of all Alabama Crimson Tide football.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by, his brother, Anthony Gomez, Jr.; and sister, Rosemary Santinelli.

Those left to cherish his memory include by his wife of 59 years, Judy Brown Gomez; his 3 children, Ben Gomez (Karen), Donna Brown (Roger), and Vickie Gesellschap (Mike); five grandchildren, Brianne Gomez (Randy Blackwell), Heath Gomez, Joe Brown, Julie Robertson (Nick), and Nicole Brown; his two sisters, Katie Pastucha (Joe), and Virginia Newsom, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 4:00pm - 6:00pm Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be held 1:00pm Friday, March 24, 2023, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, with Msgr. Luke Hunt, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Frank's nephews, Ted Newsom, Tim Newsom, Jeff Pastucha, Jimmy Pastucha, Steve Pastucha, Tony Pastucha, and Mario Santinelli.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Frank's name to either the Alzheimer's Association for Frontotemporal Lobe Dementia research or Covenant Care Hospice Pensacola.
