Fred Ralph Esposito, 90, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. Fred was born on November 22, 1924 in Revere, MA to Frank and Mary Esposito. They lived in the North End of Boston (Italian Section). He served in the US Navy from 1944-1946 in Pensacola, FL. He worked for the City of Pensacola Parks Department for 43 years earning numerous awards, last one being special for not missing any sick days in 43 years. He was a member of St Michael's Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, Usher and Greeter at Saturday Vigil Mass. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Esposito. Survivors include his sister, Lucy; son, Fred Michael Esposito (Heidi) of Pensacola Beach, FL; grandson, Stephen Dane Esposito; as well as great-granddaughter, Vanessa Lee Ann Esposito. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Monday, March 30, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to begin at 5:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel with Fr. Joe Callipare celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
