Frieda Ann Beery, age 65, of Pensacola, FL, passed on December 5 ^th , 2019. Frieda was born in Ontario, Oregon to the late Donald and Linnetta Duncan Beery. She was of the Catholic faith.

Frieda was retired from the United States Navy after 21 years of service, she loved sewing, and often made clothes for her friends. She was a Sea Cadet leader and loved working with the kids. Frieda was an independent woman who was passionate and devoted, above all, she was a loving mother, raising her son as a strong single mother. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ian Lagasa, of Chincoteague, VA; two brothers, Paul Beery, of Denver , CO, Walter Beery, and his wife Teresa, of Boise, ID; a sister, Gloria Beery, and her husband, Joseph, of Lafayette, LA.

A graveside service to honor the life of Frieda Ann Beery will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, December 13, 2019, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, with Father George Thekku, officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM until 1:30PM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, Pensacola, prior to the graveside service on Friday. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Navy.
