Garth R. Lane, life-long resident of Pensacola, passed away on March 14, 2010, shortly after her 90th birthday. She was a member of East Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed Garden Club, painting, and spending time with family at her home on Bayou Texar. Garth was preceded in death by her husband, Bert H. Lane; brother, Lowell Ramsey; and son, Gary B. Lane. She is survived by her brother, Edgar Ramsey (Flora); daughter, Rebecca L. Cunningham; and son, Ramsey H. Lane; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ramsey and Ginnie Lane; grandchildren, Welles, Breck, Tyson, Susannah, Jennifer, Angus, Blair, Amelia, and Spencer; eight great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. The family will have a private graveside ceremony. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Hill Baptist Church, 3960 Spanish Trail, Pensacola, FL 32504 or Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
