Gary Carlson, 56, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009. He was a native of Birmingham, AL and has resided in Pensacola since 1982. Gary was a loving father and grandfather of two children and a close friend to countless others. Throughout the majority of his life, he was very successful in business owning and/or operating over five companies some of which included Gulf Solar, The Window Factory, and QuicShine99 to name a few. Gary shared a love of boating, fishing, and football with friends and family. He was also an active supporter of the Boy Scouts of America as well as the charitable March of Dimes. He is survived by his two children, Pamela Michelle Carlson and Charles Eric Carlson; his brother Thomas Charles Carlson and his two grandchildren Makenna and Leila Carlson. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd. Pensacola, FL 32504.
