June 15, 1943 – April 3, 2024
Gary Edward Kase, age 80, of Pensacola, FL, went home to the Lord on Wednesday April 3, 2024. Gary was born in Reading, PA to the late Edward and Grace Kase. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Kase.
Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was a member of Global Methodist Church of Pensacola. He proudly served his country in the US Navy, retiring at the rank of Master Chief (E-9), having served during the Vietnam era. He earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree from UWF and went on to work as a computer programmer for the City of Pensacola. Gary enjoyed his time as a past Scout Master of Troop 403 and was previously a member of Cokesbury U.M.C. He and his wife were big FSU fans and enjoyed spending time with their family. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 44 years, Diana Carl Kase; his daughter, Devon Lee Kase Tancock (Matthew); his son, Joel Gary Kase (Kaylia); and his grandchildren, Edward William Tancock and Arthur Charles Tancock.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until a Memorial Service to begin at 3:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2024, at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Bobby Ellisor serving as officiant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Global Methodist Church of Pensacola, P.O. Box 10442, Pensacola, FL 32524.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gary's caregivers, Christina, Mark and Diana for the loving care shown to Gary.
